This page sets out the legal information for the website www.3aaa-kundalini.com (the “Site”), the terms that apply to the activities of the Ajai Alai Awakening school (classes, trainings, retreats, online courses and community), and the way we process your personal data.

“Ajai Alai Awakening” (AAA) is the name of the international school of Kundalini Yoga run by SUBLIM’ACTION. The school is independent: it is not affiliated with the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) or 3HO.

2. Hosting

3. Our activities

Ajai Alai Awakening offers, in several countries and online:

  • retreats of transformation and self-knowledge, including residential retreats;
  • deeper studies and foundation courses in Kundalini Yoga;
  • the Soma Healing training (somatic approach and coaching);
  • online courses and recorded videos;
  • a free online community;
  • individual sessions offered directly by our teachers on their own websites.

Events abroad may be organised with local partners and venues. The organiser, the venue and the practical conditions of each event are stated on its page and in the registration confirmation.

4. Practice of Kundalini Yoga, health and personal responsibility

Kundalini Yoga combines breathing techniques, postures, movement, meditation, mantra and relaxation. Some practices are intense (for example breath of fire, long holds or long meditations).

  • Our classes, retreats and trainings are not medical, psychological or psychotherapeutic treatment and do not replace the advice, diagnosis or care of a health professional. Never stop a treatment without medical advice.
  • Before taking part, please consult a doctor if you have any doubt about your health, in particular in case of pregnancy, heart or blood pressure problems, epilepsy, recent surgery or injury, chronic illness, or current or past psychiatric conditions.
  • You agree to inform the teacher, before the event and in confidence, of any health condition that may be relevant to your practice.
  • You practise at your own pace and within your own limits. You may stop or adapt any exercise at any time.
  • Some practices may bring up strong emotions. The teachers offer a caring frame but do not provide therapy; if needed, we will recommend that you seek appropriate professional support.
  • The somatic practices of the Soma Healing training, including touch, always take place with the explicit consent of the person concerned, which can be withdrawn at any time.

Each participant takes part under their own responsibility and must hold their own civil liability insurance. SUBLIM’ACTION cannot be held liable for damage resulting from a failure to follow the teachers’ instructions, from a health condition that was not disclosed, or from the participant’s personal belongings.

5. Retreats and residential events

  • Registration is confirmed once the deposit or full price has been paid, as stated on the event page or in the Shop. The number of places is limited.
  • What the price includes (teaching, accommodation, meals, materials) is described on each event page. Accommodation and meals are provided by the host venue, whose house rules apply. Travel to and from the venue is not included unless stated otherwise.
  • Cancellation by the participant: the conditions (deposit, deadlines, any fees) are stated on the event page and in the confirmation. Please contact us as early as possible.
  • Cancellation by the organiser: if an event is cancelled by us (for example because there are not enough participants or because of force majeure), the amounts paid are refunded in full, or, if you prefer, transferred to another event. No other compensation can be claimed.
  • Travel, documents and insurance: participants are responsible for their journey, for having valid identity and travel documents for the country concerned, and for taking out appropriate insurance (health, accident, repatriation, cancellation).
  • Respect of the group: the organiser may ask a participant whose behaviour endangers the safety or integrity of the group to leave the event.
  • Photos and videos: no photo, video or audio recording of participants is made or published without their consent.

6. Online sales: courses, videos and digital content

  • Seller: SUBLIM’ACTION (see section 1). Orders are placed through the Shop of the Site. Prices are shown in euros. Payment is made by card through our payment provider Stripe, or by bank transfer when this option is offered.
  • Digital content (online courses, recorded videos, downloads) is made available in your customer account after payment, for the duration stated on the product page. Access is personal and may not be shared, resold or broadcast.
  • Right of withdrawal: consumers in the European Union generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. However, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code:
    • there is no right of withdrawal for digital content supplied immediately, once you have expressly agreed to start access before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you lose this right;
    • there is no right of withdrawal for leisure services provided on a specific date or period (classes, retreats, trainings and events on fixed dates). The cancellation conditions of section 5 apply instead.
  • Invoices are available on request at contact@3aaa-kundalini.com.

7. Complaints and mediation

For any question or complaint, please write to contact@3aaa-kundalini.com. We will do our best to find an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached, a consumer may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator, in accordance with Articles L611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code; the details of the mediator will be given on request and published on this page.

8. Intellectual property

All the content of the Site (texts, photos, videos, audio recordings, logos, course materials) is protected by intellectual property law and belongs to SUBLIM’ACTION, to its teachers or to their respective authors. Any reproduction, distribution or use without prior written permission is prohibited, except for strictly private use.

9. Personal data

What we collect and why:

  • contact form: identity, email, phone, message, to answer your request (legitimate interest);
  • orders and registrations: identity, contact details, order and payment information, health or practical information you choose to share for an event, to manage your registration and our accounting obligations (contract and legal obligation);
  • customer and community accounts: login details and the content you post, to provide the service (contract);
  • newsletter: email address and first name, to send you news of the school, only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email;
  • technical data (IP address, logs), for the security and proper functioning of the Site (legitimate interest).

Recipients: the team of Ajai Alai Awakening and its teachers, within the limits of their tasks, and our service providers: the host (Faaaster), the payment provider (Stripe), the email sending service (Brevo), and, for an event, the host venue when necessary. Some providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decision). Your data is never sold.

Retention: contact requests are kept for 3 years; customer data for the duration of the relationship and 3 years after the last contact; accounting documents for 10 years; community accounts until you delete them.

Your rights: under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@3aaa-kundalini.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

10. Cookies and embedded content

The Site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (language choice, login, shopping cart, security). They do not require your consent.

Some pages show content embedded from other services (YouTube videos, Spotify players) and load fonts from Google Fonts. These services may collect data such as your IP address when the content is displayed, under their own privacy policies.

11. Liability and links

We take care to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that it is complete or free of errors. Dates, places and prices of events may change; the information in your registration confirmation prevails. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

12. Applicable law

This information and the contracts concluded through the Site are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt to find an amicable solution, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules of the country where a consumer lives.
